Battelle's Environmental Solutions and Process Operations is currently seeking a ES&P Ops Engineering Planner. This position is located in Aberdeen, MD.

The ES&P product line provides products and services that restore and protect the environment for nationally significant programs. We are currently conducting over a $100M annual business volume in environmental programs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing, maintaining, reporting, and forecasting program cost and schedule performance to corporate Battelle in support of work load leveling, planning and budgeting efforts. The work environment will range from field offices located on client-sites to Battelle corporate offices in Columbus OH.

Frequent business trips to field sites currently located in CA, CO, UT, AL, KY, MA, and OH. The locations will expand in the future.

THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS MUST BE MET TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION:
- BS in Engineering or other discipline with 10 years of specialized experience in Scheduling and EVMS experience on $10M+ programs.
- EVMS project scheduling and cost management experience, including advanced proficiency using Primavera 6.
- Exceptional interpersonal communications skills are required because these programs are located throughout the United States.
- The successful candidate will have demonstrated success in leadership of a multidisciplinary and multi-organizational teams.
- Provide project planning including critical path and schedule risks analysis.
- Plan and coordinate schedule interfaces with various Project Managers and clients for the assigned sections of the schedule.
- Continually monitoring critical path and prepare Schedule Impact Reports for Battelle Management.
- Proactively assess progress, completion forecasts and provide solutions to mitigate schedule delays or optimize project completion.
- Evaluating project progress against historical indicators and providing Battelle Management with comparative analysis.
- Experience working within a validated Earned Value Management Systems.
- Ability to wear a respirator and other PPE.
- The ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Required to work on sites handling toxic chemicals
- Must be US Citizen.
- The applicant will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to be placed in a Public Trust Position.

THE FOLLOWING IS DESIRED, BUT NOT REQUIRED TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION:
- Experience in validating an Earned Value Management Systems Program
