Job Description

Reporting to the CEO, the Candidate for the "_Executive Vice-President, Business Development_" position must be a highly motivated self-starter with the skill, education and experience necessary to assume and perform a wide range of sales, marketing and strategic growth and development functions. The Candidate's essential duties and responsibilities will include:


SALES, MARKETING & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT - The Candidate will be responsible for leading sales, marketing and business development efforts in the securing of new business opportunities. He/she will oversee the contract bid and renewal processes and will assist in the development of pricing strategies to ensure that new accounts meet the company's strategic, operational and financial objectives.

CLIENT INTERACTION - The Candidate will be required to travel (approx. 25% of his/her time) to meet with potential clients and current clients in order to develop relationships and execute sales. He/she will act as the primary client interface and contact point for any account that he/she

OPERATIONAL OVERSIGHT - The Candidate will have full responsibility for overseeing the operations of any account which he/she generates. Over time the Candidate may also become involved in evaluating the company's current operational structure to determine opportunities to streamline and improve processes.

Desired Skills and Work Experience include:

Minimum 7+ years leadership/senior management level experience with a recognized company in the facility services, janitorial, staffing, property maintenance, or other labor-intensive industry.

Proven experience in sales, marketing and business development.

A bachelor's degree in business or MBA is not required but will be considered an asset.

Highest ethical standards.

Skill in problem analysis and problem resolution.

Excellent writing skills, strong attention to detail and solid interpersonal and communication skills.
