Job Description

Eckerd Youth Alternatives, Inc., a leader in therapeutic programs for at risk youth, is seeking an Early Intervention Services Specialist to work out of the Largo, FL office. This position will be part of the Lead Agency for Community Based Care for Pinellas and Pasco counties.
This is a professional position responsible for the review of all Early Service Intervention Packets submitted by the Pinellas and Pasco County Sheriff's Department. The ESI Program Specialist will utilize the Service Planning Conference & ESI Checklist to review and verify that ECA has sufficient documentation to address service intervention prior to the actual ESI Staffing. Specific responsibilities include retrieving information from FSFN as needed, coordination with investigations and/or case management prior to the actual ESI staffing and facilitation of the case exchange from investigations to case management.
Duties
* Ensure all ESI Packets have sufficient information necessary to identify and provide appropriate service delivery.
* Ensure appropriate distribution of new cases to case management providers based on current assignment protocol.
* Collect data related to case assignment and provides feedback regarding trends.
* Collect and analyzes data related to new abuse reports received on open service cases.
* Facilitate ESI staffings for Pinellas and Pasco Counties.
* Function as a liaison to the local law enforcement agencies and case management agencies as part of the case exchange process.
* Assure accurate documentation of services provided; submits monthly reports as required.

Position Requirements
Bachelor's degree in social work or related human services field required. Requires a minimum of three years child welfare experience.
