Job Description
RTI's Public Health Economics Program has an opening for a bachelors level Economist. As an Economist, you will function as an integral part of a team providing analytic support to senior staff researchers conducting health economics and health services research. An Economist will conduct project tasks under the direction of more senior members while developing an in-depth understanding of critical health policy issues. Also you will become proficient with the various analytical tools used in health economics and health services research and consulting.
This positions can be located in Raleigh, NC or Atlanta GA.
Qualifications
BS/BA in Economics or related. with a minimum GPA of 3.5.
A demonstrated interest in the Health Economics field with a focus in health services and health policy research.
An extensive background quantitative research skills including statistics, and statistical programming packages such as SAS, STATA or SPSS
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency with MS Office Suite
To qualify, applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and should not require now, or in the future, sponsorship for employment visa status
