EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
* BACHELORS DEGREE IN HUMAN RESOURCES, ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT, COMMUNICATIONS, BUSINESS, OR RELATED FIELD REQUIRED.
* One year of Training and/or OD experience preferred
* Knowledge or experience in adult education is preferred.
A combination of relevant work experience and education may be accepted
SUMMARY: Primary responsibility centers on the execution of New Employee Onboarding and annual Training and Education Programming. Assists with the development, design, and execution of programming and support services and projects, etc. which are designed to improve management and employee effectiveness and to enhance organizational productivity.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING. Other duties may be assigned.
1. ASSISTS IN THE PLANNING AND EXECUTION OF ALL ONGOING AND SPECIALIZED TRAINING PROGRAMS/SERVICES AND ASSOCIATED LOGISTICS.
NEW EMPLOYEE ONBOARDING (NEO).
1.1 Serves as the primary facilitator for organizational NEO
1.2 Communicates and schedules other speakers, manages enrollment, produces and updates materials, conducts all follow up duties, etc.
1.3 Acts as point person for ensuring all The Joint Commission requirements associated with content and attendance are met. Works with HR to coordinate cross referencing of attendance, NEO exceptions, etc.
1.4 Creates a mechanism for and conducts regular evaluation of program effectiveness and maintains records.
Annual Training and Educational Programming
1.5 Supports Senior Educational Specialist in identifying and executing the annual training and educational plan for the organization.
1.6 Serves as a point of contact for coordination and scheduling for instructors of other course offerings.
1.7 Attends and assists at programs as requested.
1.8 Assists with presenters needs, including preparing contracts, meeting them the morning of training sessions, giving a tour of the facility, serves as a direct point of contact for our department, introduces trainer to the class, sets up and tears down rooms and technology.
Develops and coordinates implementation of CEOD Marketing Plan.
1.9. SOLICITS INPUT FROM EDUCATION & OD STAFF REGARDING MARKETING NEEDS.
1.10 DEVELOPS MARKETING PLAN, OVERSEES PRODUCTION OF MARKETING MATERIALS AND IDENTIFIES METHOD FOR DISTRIBUTION.
1.11 MONITORS SUCCESS OF MARKETING EFFORTS AND PROVIDES SUMMARY EVALUATIONS.
Develops and produces training program materials and ensures related reporting and activities are complete on a timely and accurate basis.
1.12 Collaborates with trainers on layout and design of training materials and supporting functions.
1.13 Coordinates printing and distribution of materials.
1.14 Coordinates all activities related to participation in educational programs, publicity for programs, and announcement confirmations through Education Assistant.
1.15 Manages and reports annual analysis of relevance of class content, attendance, trainer performance, etc.
1.16 Manages the timely and accurate submission of WVNA paperwork
2. Participates in meeting the goals and objectives of the work unit and department to ensure that the department contributes to the attainment of the organizational goals and objectives.
2.1 Promotes and contributes positively to the team work of the department by volunteering to assist co-workers, contributing ideas and problem solving with co-workers, as observed by supervision.
2.2 Participates in planning and implementing change and maintaining and improving productivity through attendance and participation in staff meetings, committees, task forces, projects and discussions with supervisor, as observed by supervision.
3. MAINTAINS PROPER ATTENDANCE AND PUNCTUALITY TO ENSURE THAT THE ORGANIZATION IS OPERATED IN AN EFFICIENT AND COST-EFFECTIVE MANNER.
3.1 Maintains proper attendance, in accordance with organizational policy, monitored by supervision.
3.2 Reports to work on time in accordance with organizational policy, monitored by supervision.
3.3 Provides adequate notice to supervisory personnel prior to absence or lateness in accordance with departmental policy, monitored by supervision.
4 Demonstrates regard for the dignity, respect and safety of all patients, family members, visitors, and organizational personnel as identified in the philosophy of the organizations.
4.2 Displays a caring and courteous attitude and represents the organization in a positive manner to all persons noted above, 100% of the time, monitored by supervisors.
4.3 Maintains the confidentiality of patient and unit information, without infraction, monitored by supervision.
4.4 Promotes and contributes positively to intradepartmental and intradepartmental relationships with no more than two valid complaints in a 6 month period, monitored by supervision.
4.5 Adheres to unit and organizational dress codes as observed by supervision, 100% of the time.
4.6 Adheres to unit and organizational safety policies and procedures 100% of the time, monitored by supervision.

* Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite particularly, Excel, Word, Publisher & Power Point or able to learn quickly
* Excellent organization, writing skills needed.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
* Must be able to manage multiple projects and budgets simultaneously.
* Exceptional attention to detail required
* Experience working with multiple projects rather than tasks
