Education Supervisor Bi lingual/Spanish Birch Family Services Back to Search FormDetailsLocation: NY New York Job Type: EducationBase Pay: N/A Required Education: Not SpecifiedBonus: Required Experience: Not SpecifiedOther: Required Travel: Not SpecifiedEmployee Type: Full Time Relocation Covered: Not SpecifiedIndustry Education Teaching Administration Job ID: Description Supervise teachers in innovative special education preschool setting to ensure best practices in instruction and compliance with monitoring agencies and regulations.Position Accountabilities* Supervise teachers and teaching assistants to achieve best practices in the classroom.* Act as liaison with CPSE District Administrators to ensure that students receive the appropriate services.* Interface with parents regarding students needs and school policies.* Conducts staff recruitment, participates in interviews and in decision making regarding hiring.* Work with Curriculum Dept. to ensure that program mandates are implemented into appropriate models.* Ensure program planning, implementation, instruction and professional development for educational staff.* Assign educational and clinical staff to provide necessary services and instruction in program areas.* Act as school liaison with college/university academic faculty.* Market program to students and interns in related disciplines* Develop and distributes periodic reports and recommendations regarding educational policy and program development.* Perform related duties as required and assigned.RequirementsPosition QualificationsRequirements:MA and NYS certification in ECE and Special Ed, prior teaching expand SAS/SBL required.Hours of Work: Typical hours will be Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM with a one hour unpaid meal break.
