* is expected to configure, maintain and install various types of electrical equipment in an industrial setting at the Phillips 66 Borger Refinery located in Borger, Texas\. The starting rate of pay for an Electrician is $36\.32/hour with the ability to reach top craft pay within 24 months which is currently $39\.26/hour\.*
* Responsibilities may include

- + Troubleshooting, removing, repairing and re\-installing various types of electrical equipment + Installing and repairing conduit, wiring, electrical fixtures and equipment + Working safely on or around 120 volts up to 15 kV + Ability to wire and troubleshoot power and control circuits + Ability to read and draw schematics and wiring diagrams + Operating motorized and manual equipment + Performing work activities that include pulling, lifting, twisting, working in confined spaces and on elevated platforms requiring fall protection + Entering and retrieving computer data + Using fire equipment when necessary along with many other general maintenance activities*

+ Legally authorized to work in the job posting country + High School Diploma or GED equivalent + Technical certification in Electrical \(or higher\) OR minimum of 2 years of directly applicable equivalent experience + Working knowledge of industrial and commercial electrical systems + Working knowledge of the NEC and NFPA7OE + Must be at least 18 years of age + Must have a valid driver's license + Willingness to comply with the following:
- Work safely and follow all safety rules at all times - Report any unsafe or unhealthy conditions immediately - To work at least an 8\-hour rotating shift and up to a 12\-hour rotating shift, which includes some weekends and holidays - To work overtime - To work in enclosed spaces, such as tanks and silos - To work near large, hot, high\-speed machines - To climb up to 250 feet in height - To lift a minimum of 50 pounds - To work safely on or around 120 volts up to 15kV - To work around chemicals, including acids and bases - To wear fire retardant clothing and personal protective equipment \(such as steel\-toe shoes, ear and eye protection\) - To maintain your facial hair daily so that a respirator/face mask can seal properly \(some examples include being free of facial hair and/or clean shaven\) - To work outside in harsh weather conditions - To work with petroleum products that are under high pressure and high temperatures - To read technical procedures and materials in English - To read and draw schematics and wiring diagrams - To learn computer software associated with process operations - To wire and troubleshoot power and control circuits*

+ Associate's Degree in electrical technology + 2 or more years of military experience working with electricity or electronics + 2 or more years of electrical experience working in a refinery, oilfield, and/or chemical industry setting + Experience with SAP's Maintenance Module + Evaluate and improve our processes for uptime and reliability + Working knowledge of substation maintenance + Working knowledge of industrial UPS and DC systems*

The refinery processes 148 mbpd of light and medium gravity sour crudes plus fractionates 30 mbpd of mixed natural gas liquids\.
