JOB DESCRIPTIONThe Superior Group has been asked by our partner company to identify an Electrical Engineer in the Aurora area. This full time 'direct hire' position will work with an engineering team to develop products from inception to launch. As an Electrical Engineer, you will certify that the electrical design are within time and budgeted constraints. Working closely with sales, manufacturing, service and customers directly, this Engineering role will be best suited for the person who values collaboration, continuous improvement, and achieves high standards of quality.
Additional responsibilities for the Electrical Engineer include:
Electrical Design, operational safety of equipment, quality performance, and troubleshooting
Ensures the accuracy and precision of equipment for the packaging industry.
Manages project deliverables; bill of materials, procedures, manufacturability, root cause analysis and cost analysis.
Designs 2D model drawings
Responds to technical inquiries from internal and external customers
Work effectively and collaborate with engineering, marketing, Sales, Service, R&D and other departments.
Ensure standardized engineering principals and creates best practices are followed within engineering group.
Maintain and enhance the product life cycle processes and tools.
Required Skills / Qualifications:
3+ years of experience as Electrical Engineering
3+ years of experience designing automated machinery in a manufacturing environment
Prior AutoCAD experience
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering
Experience with CE, UL508A, NFPA79, IEC, EN60204 and NEC regulations, ISO13849
Experience with IP & NEMA ratings
