Electrical Engineer IV

We are looking for a passionate engineer to collaborate with our team supporting industry leading cryogenic and robotic platforms. The candidate should have extensive experience in circuit board design and test, and expertise in root cause analysis and corrective action definition. Projects will typically consist of quality improvement programs, cost reductions and field support. Role requires experience defining and reviewing ICT, flying probe, and functional test requirements. The engineer will be expected to use modeling, simulation and testing. Infrequent travel may be required to visit customers and contract manufacturer facilities.
Required Skills
Ability to work independently with support from a larger team. Ability to conduct basic EMC tests, familiarity with EN 61000-6-4 tests and troubleshooting. Understanding of failure analysis and corrective action principles including 8-D and Red X principles. Ability to communicate design details clearly and effectively. Comfortable with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, general lab equipment. Ability to quickly become familiar with existing designs. Ability to communicate design details clearly and effectively. Expertise in PCB assembly and test.
Required Experience
BSEE with 7+ years of experience, MSEE with 4+ years of experience, or equivalent (level commensurate with experience and capability). Work experience with compressor or robotic products preferred. Electrical life-cycle analysis and BOM management. PCB Design tools:
OrCAD, PADs, PSpice, Altium Designer. Experience driving cross functional projects; consensus building, program management. Design and troubleshooting of digital, analog, and power circuits as well as associated test fixtures.
