Essential Functions: Responsible for plant wide electrical troubleshooting and repairAbility to maintain all automation throughout the facility along with all electric circuits of 480VAC or less Ability to troubleshoot and repair high voltage lighting, VFD’s and AC/DC systemsTroubleshoot and repair PLC (Allen-Bradley) systems Ability to read and understand ladder logic is necessary to troubleshoot most field equipment in the plant. Familiar with networking systems like Controlnet, Ethernet, Data HighwayTroubleshoot, locate, identify, or diagnose electrical malfunctionAdjust, repair, or replace electrical wiring systems or componentCalibrate and/or troubleshoot process instrumentationFollow wiring diagramFollow, interpret, and read blueprints or schematicInspect for conformity to industry standards or specificationsRebuild, repair and replace damaged, defective, or worn partsTest electrical circuits, components or systemsTest electrical system for faulty connectionsMaintain a clean and orderly work area and remove material and equipment from job siteCheck output on DC controllers and replace printed circuit boards when neededPerform miscellaneous job related duties as assigned
High School diploma or GED equivalent requiredAssociates Degree in Electronics or 2+ years of equivalent experience2 years of experience or schooling troubleshooting and repairing PLC’s preferred2 years’ experience in an industrial environment preferredFamiliar with mass flow meters, pressure transmitters, temperature transmitters, burner control systems and other like equipment found in an automated plant.Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment Demonstrated ability to work in a safety conscious environment Previous work in a soybean crush facility is a plusExperience with SAP maintenance software a plusGood written and verbal communications skills Ability to work overtime as neededAbility to work on-call as needed
