Support of Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) Fly-By-Wire (FBW) Ship Control Systems (SCS) for U.S. Navy submarines. Review of engineering specifications, documents, drawings, and plans, Audits of computer software units. Review of system, software, and hardware test procedures. Witnessing of Formal Qualification and System Acceptance Testing at land-based test facilities. Validation of requirements.

Qualified candidates must have the ability to acquire and maintain a security clearance which requires US Citizenship.
Education Required: B.S.E.E. or similar.
Experience and Skills Required: Experienced engineers with demonstrated experience with complex software-based systems. U.S. Navy electronics systems experience a plus. Knowledge and experience with computer programming languages. Ability to understand ADA and C-language; previous ADA experience a plus.
