SAFETY/ENVIRONMENTAL:
- Follows PCA safety policies to achieve Valdosta Mill safety objectives - Manages safety from themselves and others - Promotes safety awareness all the time - Participates in mill safety observation program - Participates in weekly and monthly safety meeting with crews - Pushes safety awareness will all employees and contractors - Supports mill environmental policies to achieve no violations JOB KNOWLEDGE:
- Power Distribution - Motor Theory - Instrumentation - Control circuits - AC Drives ADMINSTRATIVE AND JOB PERFORMANCE:
- Key computer skills (MS Office, CMMS, MS Project) - Communicates and maintains department policies - Communicates with peers well - give clear direction and follows up - Communicates with operations, engineers, electrical/mechanical supervisor, superintendents and managers to promote planning and precision area maintenance - Manage work requests with operations for conversion to work orders - Manage work order backlog for routine, scheduled maintenance outages, and annual outages in Trident (Computerized Maintenance Management System) - Manage MS Project timelines for monthly an annual outages - Plan and execute capital projects for maintenance replacements of equipment - Hold highest standard of quality and performance for himself and others - Push quality of work and organized planning - Effectively manage jobs for best result at lowest cost - Look for opportunities to solve issues, reduce cost, and improve planning performance - Solve problems utilizing the mills RCFA program - Effectively manages contractor for performing jobs - Consistently looks for opportunities to upgrade equipment for maintenance effectiveness - Pushes responsibility down to hourly employees - Utilizes hourly employees to help in decisions and planning - Supports area supervisor, superintendents, and managers - Consistently engages vendors for value added services - Effectively manage parts and store inventory - Must be dedicated to PCA after hours - Must participate in a duty rotation Competitive pay and benefit package.
