JOB DESCRIPTIONSuperior Group is looking for Production Tech Pharmacy Specialist 2 for our Client located in Sacramento, CA
Data entry and computer experience helpful.
Specialized skill training/certification may be required.
Performs tasks that require knowledge of a combination of processes, procedures, operation and equipment.
Duties may consist of, but not limited to, cycle counting of material in the pharmacy, conducting equipment maintenance, maintaining tool crib operation, distributing tools as needed, repairing tools, performing tool, consumables and equipment inventory and stock keeping tasks, preparing returns to vendors, identifying ordering points and placing purchase requisitions as needed.
Verifies and counts deliveries to maintenance, pharmacy or tool crib areas. Reports variances.
Maintains storage equipment areas.
Maintains tool calibration program in accordance to ISO standards.
Works with vendors as needed.
Supports safety program through various activities including maintenance of tooling, equipment and stocking personal protective equipment supplies.
Responsible for various reports involving Air Quality Emissions, equipment, maintenance, tool inventory, tool calibration, consumables, shop supplies, safety activities, etc.
Supports equipment maintenance program through various activities including coordinating with third party service providers, conducting and tracking of maintenance and repairs of tools and equipment. Supports maintenance of manufacturing areas.
May assist with training of other employees in equipment, tool and safety procedures.
Prepares and documents pharmacy material for release to the production floor and checks for proper labeling, proper storage and expiration dates.
Utilizes small hand tools and may operate material handling equipment including forklifts, pallet handlers, hand trucks, and the like.
Assists with disposition of rejected or out-of-date material.
Able to maintain FIFO procedures for time sensitive material.
Uses computer programs to maintain accurate material flow, equipment and consumables related information.
Provide notification to appropriate personnel to re-order of material.
Must be trained in hazardous waste disposal if primary function is working in the pharmacy.
Comply with all Federal, State, County and City regulatory statues, including OSHA, EPA, SMAQD and county HAZMAT.
This position works closely with other departments as needed.
Works under little to no supervision Works on assignments that are more complex in nature where considerable judgment and initiative are required in resolving problems and making recommendations.
Advanced complete understanding of the knowledge area to foresee and solve new problems and to address new business issues.
Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth of various factors.
Ability to apply workmanship standards and understand and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
May provide expert advice, training and technical assistance to support staff and train lower level employees. May coach or train other personnel and often operates in a work team environment.
Interfaces with Production staff, Operations Controlling staff, Warehouse staff, Purchasing staff, Customers and Suppliers.
Erroneous decisions would cause significant delays, inefficiencies or additional expenses which affect the performance or profitability of the company.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms.
The employee frequently is required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
