The Electronic Technician III/Site Manager, works for and reports to the Corporate Program Manager. A working first line supervisor. The Site Manager shall be responsible for contract performance and ensuring proper communications between the Contractor and Government personnel. The Site Manager will be responsible for the operation and conduct of the site, for all repair and maintenance of the COMS trainers including but not limited to supervising and technically assisting other technicians, performing upgrades and revisions. Be able to recommend and administer personnel actions, including: recruitment, new hires, training, promotions, terminations and transfers. Administer personnel vacations, holidays, sick and personnel time off to insure adequate manpower is available to perform under this contract. Prepare and post personnel shift schedules including scheduled and unscheduled overtime requirements. Keep COR apprised of Simulator status and on-going training efforts for COMS personnel. Keep Program Manager and COR apprised of Simulator status and on-going training efforts. Coordinate with Program Manager and COR for Backup Support requirements when required. Monitor, control and conduct Quality Control Plan Inspections. Prepare and distribute all contract Records and Reports in accordance with contract CDRLs. Perform as site focal point for all contract functions.
The Site Manager must be able to discipline in accordance with Cubic's policies.
Performs other tasking as required or assigned by the Regional/Program Manager
Requires mental alertness and ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English. Physical ability to walk on rugged, un-level surfaces, stand and/or sit for extended periods of time, and to climb two (2) flights of stairs and ladders is required. The ability to lift and carry 75 pounds is required.
Must present a professional appearance in demeanor and dress at all times.
Site Manager shall demonstrate five (5) years management experience in which two (2) years shall be management of electronic maintenance. The Site Manager will perform as a Shift Supervisor and meet those requirements. Have demonstrated competence through 6 years satisfactory progressive performance as a maintenance technician on simulators/training devices of equivalent complexity to these within this Task Order at the relevant site. Two (2) years of formal electronics training or a combination of equivalent training. Twelve (12) months supervisory electronic maintenance experience. Ability to priorities resources to meet daily utilization schedule. Effective communicator and the ability to train and develop shift personnel.
The applicant must be a US citizen, possess the ability to obtain a US passport and must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
Applicant will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to receive and maintain a SECRET clearance for access to classified information.
