BR BR B Job Responsibilities /B Individual shall operate, maintain, and repair, radar systems and support scheduled radar operations. br Provide support for fielding upgrades to the Remotely Operated Tracking Radar (ROTR) series radar systems. br May be required to work overtime, including weekends, sometimes with short notice. br Individual must be highly motivated and proactive to operational support changes as well as day-to-day maintenance support of the systems. br Anticipate work to require heavy lifting, up to 90lbs, work on ladders, and in confined spaces. Work performed may include exposure to elements (cold, wind, rain, and heat) and sometimes in remote locations as well during both day and night time of day. br May be required to support other test requirements including Telemetry Systems and the GPS/DLS Center. These systems are all part of the Data Acquisition Branch and are similar in operations (computer based and remote controlled systems). br BR BR B Experience/Education /B U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Security Interim Clearance within 30 days of hire date and maintain the clearance throughout employment. br Equivalent of 1 year of electronics training, Electronics Certificate, or specialized experience is highly desirable. br Familiarity with circuit analysis and troubleshooting, electronic fabrication, knowledge of basic video systems, generator and air conditioning systems is highly desirable. br A basic understanding of the following types of test equipment is also desirable: Oscilloscopes, Digital Power Analyzers, Counters, Attenuators, Power Meters, and Spectrum Analyzers. br Experience working with hand, power, and calibration tools as well as assembling and disassembling capabilities in regards to multiple component units is highly desirable. br Possess working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. br Superior customer satisfaction, analytical, and communication skills are essential. br
