WHAT THE JOB ENTAILS:
Create, maintain, and iterate on amazing applications that run SFDC's Employee Success (HR) platform using Force.com and 3rd party APIs. This team is located in San Francisco.
REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
*Proficiency with Java or a similar OOP language, including design patterns (Force.com experience is awesome, but anyone with a strong OOP/web development background is welcome!)
*5+ years relevant experience
*Strong database concepts and data modeling capabilities
*Experience delivering complex projects on time, including leading the design and development of major pieces of the project
*Experience working with Product Owners to understand the customer's requirements, and turn them into great software
*Great verbal & written communication. Work here is a team sport.
*Agile experience (working with Product Owners, Quality Engineers, two week sprints, etc)
*Collaborative, you work well in team settings and are comfortable giving and receiving feedback
*Curious, you ask "why" a lot, and push to understand the greater context
*Innovative, you are able to think of better ways of doing things, and challenge the status quo
*You're passionate about building great software
*You have demonstrated the ability to get stuff done
*A history of leadership, even when you didn't have the title to go with it
*Solid computer science concepts and principles and likely have a degree in computer science/engineering
*Knowledge/experience in Salesforce and the Force.com platform (APEX, Visual Force) is a strong plus
