Symantec s Global Security Office is charged with protecting the company that protects the world. Although we use a number of products within the Symantec portfolio to protect our network and assets, we also lead the effort in protecting our people. The Employee Trust Training Lead will play a key role in innovating and maturing the program to ensure that it is worthy of the Symantec name.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Develop security training content, inclusive of general security awareness, and technical/role-based utilizing various mediums to ensure the training is relevant, relatable and impactful.
* Foster relationships with the security champions within each business unit and provide training guidance and content creation when necessary.
* Innovate existing content and challenge the status quo: look outside the box for ways to train employees across the globe on critical security-related topics
* Help define and grow our culture of security
* Mature our phishing assessment program; defining scenarios, deploying assessments and adjust strategy based on results.
* Provide meaningful, measured metrics supporting the program and reflecting ROI
* Support company-wide initiatives to improve our security awareness posture, including National Cyber Security Awareness Month
* Manage the deployment of ongoing security awareness training in our Learning Management System, participate in the Learning Council to drive tools and strategy
* Recognize opportunities for programmatic improvement and take initiative to implement change

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Marketing, Communication or equivalent work experience. Teaching experience a plus
* 5 years experience in training development, minimum of 2 years in a security awareness environment
* Experience utilizing phishing tools a must; scenario development experience desired
* Must be a comfortable and confident public speaker
* Strong communication (verbal and written)and interpersonal skills required: must be resourceful and willing to develop partnerships across the company to meet program goals.
* Experience translating and teaching technical content to a non-technical audience.
