Summary:
The Scope Technician works under the direction of the Clinican Manager. The primary responsibility of the technician is care and cleaning of all endoscopy scopes and equipment, ordering of supplies as needed, continuous monitoring of the DSD machines, and Cidex and filter changes as needed. The technician is also responsible to keep communication open with vendors regarding scope repairs and any machine issues that may arise. Responsibility also includes the set up of procedure rooms with the appropriate scopes prior to procedures.



Qualifications:
High school diploma
Willing to take responsibility of Endoscopy equipment
Certified in Basic Life Support
Minimum 1-2 years experience in endoscopy required
Mental and physical health sufficient to meet the demands of position
Strong interpersonal skills
