Energy Conservation Specialist
Helena or Bozeman Montana, USA

Location and team
Join the team that is helping a large Montana electric utility's residential customers save energy and money. KEMA is seeking an energy advisor/technician to be based in Bozeman or Helena MT, with significant overnight travel around the state. The primary job task is performing residential and commercial energy conservation audits. Considerable training will be provided.

Tasks may include:

Educating customers about the project and energy conservation
Performing on-site residential energy surveys and inspections
Performing safety inspections on gas appliances
Installing or providing free conservation devices.

What we're asking

Great customer service and interpersonal skills;
Interest in energy conservation;
Ability to perform math and geometry calculations;
Construction trades education or technical experience helpful (not required);
Good verbal and written communication skills;
Computer skills;

A positive, team-oriented attitude;
A valid driver's license and good driving record;
Willingness to travel extensively around Montana (up to 3 nights/week);
Ability to pass a background investigation;
Ability to lift 40 pounds straight up to waist height.

This is a US-based position; applicants must be fully authorized to work in the U.S.

A background check will be performed.
