* for support on projects associated with the design and development of communication, navigation, radar, avionics and/or electrical systems architecture, components, circuits, or products\. The candidate will research, develop, design, and test electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks\. May act as the primary customer contact for program activities, as well as provide oversight of subcontractors\. Will participate in program review sessions with customers to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance\. Will review civil and military technical specifications to determine applicability of requirements and validations required\. Significant technical writing is expected and will include both contractual and engineering documents\.This position will support the development of new business by expanding the product line with the current customer or with new customers within the Department of Defense or industry\. Will participate in presenting company capabilities to potential customers and in the development of potential solutions to customer requirements\. May plan R&D programs and recommend technological application programs to accomplish long\-range objectives\. Work accomplished typically supports long\-range strategic goals\.Duties and responsibilities include:
+ Design electrical equipment, components, products, and systems for defense systems or commercial purposes\.+ Analyze complex electronic circuitry and precision electro\-mechanical assemblies through simulation or analytically in order to recommend component substitutions to ensure the integrity of the platform configuration, safety, and performance specifications\.+ Identify, analyze, and solve obsolescence issues\.+ Access, interpret, and recommend changes to engineering drawings\.+ Analyze complex electronic circuitry and precision electro\-mechanical assemblies through simulation or analytically in order to redesign the circuit using currently available electronics\.+ Establish milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules\.+ Establish design concepts, criteria and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration and test\.+ Identify program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications\.+ Act independently to uncover and resolve issues associated with the development and implementation of programs\.+ Direct the work of employees assigned to the program\.+ Review and author technical and contractual documentation\.+ Determine applicable requirements and standards\.+ Recommend appropriate validation and testing strategies\.

+ Bachelor of Science in Engineering with 2 years of experience designing developing & testing analog and/or radio frequency \(RF\) associated with communication systems architecture, components, circuits, or products, 0 years with Master's\.+ Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance\.+ Candidate must have solid written and verbal skills in order to effectively interact with Government counterparts and cross\-functional organizations\.Bachelor of Science in Engineering with 2 years of experience designing developing & testing analog and/or radio frequency \(RF\) associated with communication systems architecture, components, circuits, or products, 0 years with Master's\.Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance\.Candidate must have solid written and verbal skills in order to effectively interact with Government counterparts and cross\-functional organizations\.Basic Qualifications for Engineer Electrical 3:
+ Bachelor of Science in Engineering with 5 years of experience designing developing & testing analog and/or radio frequency \(RF\) associated with communication systems architecture, components, circuits, or products, 3 years with Master's or 0 years with PhD\.+ Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance\.+ Candidate must have solid written and verbal skills in order to effectively interact with Government counterparts and cross\-functional organizations\.Preferred Qualifications:
\- Active Secret Security Clearance\.\- Program Management or Contracting experience\.\- OrCAD or similar design tool experience a plus\.\- Experience with aircraft based communication system design a plus\.\- Experience with Air Force customers and aerospace industry plus\.\- Experience with test planning at the card, box and system level a plus\.\- Experience with electromagnetic effects requirements and nuclear hardened systems a plus\.\- Experience with information security, COMSEC and TEMPEST\.Northrop Grumman is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce\.
