* Northrop Grumman Electronics Systems \(NG\) is seeking a candidate to fill an opening as a Supply Chain Engineer on the Circuit Card Assembly \(CCA\) Technology Domain Team within the Supply Chain Management organization\. This position will serve as the sector face to the supply base within the technology domain and also provide a link between supply chain and engineering for emerging technologies and programs\. The successful candidate will utilize technical and business skills in the management of circuit card assemblies\.This position will be responsible for the following:
-Develop and maintain supplier capability assessment checklists-Participate on multi\-disciplined teams to assess and qualify new suppliers and/or capabilities-Provide input on program proposals including utilizing suppliers to estimate production recurring costs based on lessons learned from new product development efforts-Collaborate with procurement agents and program design teams to determine source selection and structure appropriate contract approaches for new development products to achieve objectives of the program while minimizing overall risk to NG-Visit suppliers on a periodic basis to perform new product technical reviews, oversee high risk processes, and facilitate product close out lessons learned reviews-Form and lead multi\-disciplined teams in problem resolution-Foster engineering engagement across campuses to continue driving towards single supply base and common design / fabrication requirements-Manage new development /high risk open requirements with suppliers and provide schedule status visibility to programs and engineering product ability team-Participate in design reviews to ensure design approach does not limit supplier selection or competition Lead suppliers and engineering teams in new product launch risk assessment for both technical and schedule risks and provide feedback to program risk register-Engage with sub\-tier suppliers in the development of new materials and processes in support of new products and capabilities within primary supply base-Communicate on a regular basis supplier performance metrics \(cost, schedule, technical, etc\.\)-Monitor overall supply base and industry trends for opportunities and/or risks to NG-Implement program\-specific objectives and Sector level objectives within the supplybase-Host supplier business and performance reviews at NG-Facilitate program business and technical interchanges with suppliers-Lead and foster strategic and tactical relationships between suppliers and NGThis position will report to the Manager, CCA Technology Domain Team\. The incumbent will have ownership responsibility for the execution of supply chain processes and strategies for a particular set of suppliers and/or technologies within the technology domain\. They will also be a member of an integrated, multi\-disciplined team comprised of experts in materials management, subcontract administration, procurement, mission assurance, engineering, and manufacturing\.

* Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, minimum 9 years of supply chain and/or engineering industry experience; or a Master's Degree in Engineering and minimum 7 years of supply chain and/or engineering industry experience\.- Demonstrated ability to build trusted, collaborative relationships\.- Demonstrated project management skills indicating the ability to manage a large set of tasks in a dynamic environment, and the ability to execute business strategies\.- Experience working on complex systems for the Department of Defense or commercial high tech products\.- U\.S\. citizen and ability to obtain government security clearance\.Preferred Qualifications:
