Opportunity

Are you a Mechanical Engineer looking for opportunities to explore assignments within New Product Design, New Process Design, and New Product Integration? The Global Faucets Engineer Rotation Program offers the ideal position for you! The Engineer Rotation Program is designed to provide participants with an accelerated experience in New Product Design, New Process Design, and New Product Integration. At the conclusion of the eighteen month program, participants will be candidates for engineer roles across the company and will provide individuals with future leadership opportunities at Kohler.



Skills/Requirements

Qualified candidates will meet the following requirements:



* New Product Design: Participate in new product development activities which include generation of new product concepts. Determine appropriate approaches and execute design research, product concept drawings, modeling, and product presentations.



* New Process Design: Design and execute testings for new processes and materials in development. Produce current and proposed costing scenarios to determine process viability. Gain expertise in manufacturing processes through participation in cost reduction and quality improvement teams.



* New Product Integration: Create product strategic supply chain recommendations. Create product standard cost in concept and feasibility design phase and create the operations portion of the project timeline by consulting with manufacturing, engineering, quality, and other key stakeholders. Collaborate closely with new product development departments and create diverse ideas in order to deliver simultaneous product and process design solutions.



* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program required; preferable discipline in mechanical or manufacturing.
