-Engineering Competitive Analysis \(ECA\)Provides air and space programs with Life\-Cycle\-Cost \(LCC\) based analyses to support trade studies and development of Design\-to\-Cost \(DTC\) targets to ensure that cost is considered as a Key Performance Parameter \(KPP\)\. Analyses require high levels of interaction across program Integrated Product Teams \(IPTs\) as well as across functional organizations \(Engineering, Manufacturing, Logistics, etc\.\) and address system level requirements\. A Systems Engineering understanding is required to perform the analysis that leads to Senior Leadership decision\-making\. The ability to link design parameters to projected impacts on system costs requires identifying and quantifying key drivers that can be addressed by design engineers\. Key software tools leveraged are Microsoft Office Products, Commercial Parametric Estimating Software \(SEER, Price\) and Computer Aided Design skills are a plus \(CATIA V5, NX, etc\.\)\.-Data Integration & Visibility \(DI&V\)The DI&V department supports customer requirements for improving their visibility of decision making data\. DI&V personnel work with their customer to identify & scope their needs, subsequently a proposed solution is recommended and a development plan and budget requirements are defined\. Solutions typically require the integration of data from multiple sources into a clear set of summary information, metrics, etc\. that support customer decision making\. DI&V also develops tools to improve organizational efficiency in web\-based applications, such as SharePoint, and requiring integration with multiple commercial off the shelf \(COTS\) applications\.Systems Engineers performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems\. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include:
concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal\. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints\. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications\.Basic Qualifications:
+ Candidates must be pursuing or have obtained a Bachelor of Science degree within a year of graduation with a STEM \(Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics\) discipline\.+ Must be a US Citizen\.+ Candidate must have the ability to obtain and retain a DoD secret clearance\.Preferred Qualifications:
