* Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a candidate with a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related engineering discipline and an in\-depth knowledge of Systems Architecture and Integration\. We are located in Orlando, Florida's Research Park which has become the World's epicenter of simulation technologies\. At our location, we provide dynamic, cost effective distributed training solutions to our nation's finest combat aviators\. We furnish the high\-speed secure systems and networks that allow geographically disparate combat units to train together in a virtual battle space\. We also develop the standards which allow interoperability between multiple different military flight simulation systems\. We are truly at the cutting edge of simulation technology\. We want you to come and join our dynamic, energetic team of professionals\.This Engineer Systems position will develop computer systems using off\-the\-shelf products including servers, networking gear, and custom software packages by following defined processes\. Scholastic and hands on experience in building computers and networks is required\. Work is often performed in a team\-environment which requires strong written and oral communications skills\. A proven history of personal commitment and initiative, as well as the ability to set and achieve significant goals as an individual contributor and in a team is required\. This Engineer must be a proven team player with good interpersonal skills who is highly adaptable and has proven successful in diverse technical areas, both scholastically and inside the workplace\. After gaining experience working with the Orlando, providing technical insight, along with occasional task leadership will be required\.Other responsibilities will include operation and troubleshooting of developed systems, documentation of new and existing processes, and the installation and testing of systems in the field\. A mentality of continuous process and system improvement is a critical component to this Engineer's success\. Attention to detail is critical for properly supporting this role, as is following through until successful task completion is reached\.Provides responsive, quality customer service and support at all times for internal Northrop Grumman and external Air Force stakeholders\. Performs immediate analysis of customer problems and directs the implementation of corrective action to restore function and avoid recurrence\. Functions as the customer's single point of contact for problem escalation and resolution as required\. Candidate will be required to work on small to medium size, collaborative teams with government, military, industry partners, and other Northrop Grumman employees\.Air travel will be required\. * Basic Qualifications:

* - Typical Minimum Education / Experience:
2 Years with Bachelors in Science; 0 Years with Masters / Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field- Active Secret or Top Secret DoD security clearance and eligibility for Tier 1 access- Eligible for US passport \(needed for position travel\) and current driver's license- Strong operating system, networking, hardware, and application troubleshooting skills- Experience with performing system vulnerability assessments- Strong verbal and written communication skills- Demonstrated success working individually or as part of a team requiring little supervision- Must be able to work in a fast\-paced environment
