Overview:

This position is responsible for managing facility engineering functions, coordination of plant projects, and CAPEX program,.

Essential Functions:

• Manage the facility’s engineering group and services to various plant production departments to coordinate plant project work and maintain or improve production levels, reliability, quality and lowest possible energy costs • Supervise the work of the facility’s engineering staff and on site contractors to maintain: productivity and motivation; technical competence; and successful project/plant support • Direct and evaluate the work of students or engineering trainees that may be assigned to the facility • Coordinate Bunge corporate and plant initiatives related to productivity, including but not limited to, lean sigma, kaizen events, productivity teams, productivity training, and other related activities • Demonstrate the following core values and guiding behaviors which are expected of all employees at Bunge North America: Integrity, Openness and Trust, Teamwork, Citizenship, and Entrepreneurship • Perform other duties as assigned• Ensure that the facility goal of no injuries is pursued by all employees• Ensure Plant is compliant with all corporate policies and procedures• Responsible for all aspects project development and implementation by meeting project deadlines and within budgetary constraints• Provide general technical assistance to operations staff concerning the following: dry material handling, air flows, heat exchange, electricity and power, programmable logistical controllers (PLC), steam generation/use and liquid movement/storage

QUALIFICATIONS:



• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline, or equivalent • Minimum of three years of supervisory experience • Knowledge of plant operations, maintenance, and safety • Familiarity with productivity measures, standards and tools • Demonstrated organization, planning and problem solving capabilities • Good verbal and written communication skills • Ability to work in a team environment• Basic PLC programing• Basic 3 Phase electrical
