Job Description: Sorry, Visa / sponsorship not available. The Finite Scheduler is responsible for efficiently scheduling batch production to meet the needs of the Packaging Business Units. The Finite Scheduler coordinates equipment, labor, and inventory requirements for the production of finished and processed ingredients. The finite scheduler must be able to manage and coach a multi-skilled, multi-level, multi-shift, diverse workforce to achieve business results. Operations Management *Efficiently schedules equipment, manpower, and inventory requirements for the production of finished and processed ingredients to optimize quality, service, and cost. *Effectively communicates with Ingredient Analysts and Master Production Schedulers to limit disruptions caused by ingredient shortages. *Coordinates finished ingredient production to support Outside Vendors and International Locations. People Management *Expand the application of total employee involvement processes including work redesign, empowerment, and quality and productivity improvement teams consistent with Avon principles and values. *Provides coaching and mentoring to hourly Associates to further development in current role. *Directly manages non-exempt staff following Avon's values, principles and policies *Act as back up for Warehouse Supervisor role Transformation Management *Demonstratives creative cost saving approaches to completing and improving tasks and processes *Have a continuous improvement process focus to drive innovative thinking and movement of our quality and service to the Representatives. Be the leader and driver for such activities. Ensure all projects as such are completed on time. Compliance Management *Enforces operating procedures and systems to meet safety, quality, service, and regulatory compliance requirements of internal and external customers, and regulatory agencies, including, OSHA and the FDA. *Ensures safety and GMP compliance. Other duties as assigned Job Requirements: Basic Qualifications -Bachelor's degree; preferably in a technical field ie engineering or science field, Master's degree is a plus. Supply Chain/Quality related certification(s) also a plus -At least 1 (preferably 3 years) of related experience Previous compounding, pharmaceutical, or cosmetic formulation and manufacture experience is a plus. -At least 1 year experience in a supervisory role (managing 10 or more Associates is a plus).
