JOB DESCRIPTIONProvide the company with the capability of understanding our internal business procedures using blueprints (or graphical notation) and give stakeholders the ability to communicate these procedures in an effective way. Develop and maintain an enterprise wide business operating model. Facilitate business process modeling sessions with teams across the organization; educate others on process mapping, process improvement, and redundancy reduction. Ensure all processes are well defined according to the principles and interconnected. Ensure all processes are consistently stored in a central repository and connected to other domain level diagrams/symbols. Act as the ?front door? for all blueprinting activities.
? Collaborate with the business analyst to align business requirements to processes for the project and manage creation and maintenance of business model, multi-layered business process diagrams, and business rules blueprints.
? Manage the deliverables for a group of business process analysts ensuring they are consistent according to published standards.
? Analyzing current state business process and develop more efficient future state business processes. Use big picture view to educate various teams on redundancies. Recommend improvements and changes to gain efficiencies across the organization. Participate in the architectural review board.
? Work to define and maintain the abstract architectural patterns related to business processes.
? Provide business process model and notation (BPMS) subject matter expertise to the various development teams including communicating architectural decisions and mentoring other technical staff around the various business modeling decisions.
? Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
? Business modeling expertise including BPMN or another modeling notation. 8 ? 10 years (required)
? Business Rules expertise and an understanding of the Decision Model
? Basic data modeling techniques
? Experience with IBM System Architect or another enterprise architecture (EA) tool
? Abstract design methodologies and analytical skills
? Experience in team leadership and mentoring of business process analysts
? Business requirements management and mapping
? BPM Certification or six-sigma certification a plus
