Job Description

HP Enterprise Services Division creating a national consulting group that is concentrating business efforts in specific industries. We are seeking individuals with specific industry knowledge to be Transformational Leads. These individuals will be involved in the initial phases of client contact and demonstrate HPs expertise in their industry. The Enterprise Services Transformational Lead is extremely visible and will be involved in initial client meetings, serve as the expert for the specific industry, and provide support as needed through project completion. The individual will manage several clients simultaneously with 50-75% travel.- Organizes and shapes an engagement teams strategy to drive success - Leads board level visioning sessions providing thought leadership to client - Develops and manages relationships across the whole client base, discussing benefits and value at board level - Commercially shapes deals based on business benefit to client rather than actual cost to complete (value based pricing)identifying risk/reward opportunities and developing business cases to work with clients in new and different ways to mutual benefits - Drives key meetings and workshops to achieve the outcomes within the deadline - Understands and utilizes the full range of facilitation methods and tools to run effective events - Advises at board level on MOC strategies and implementation plans - Consults on governance, strategy and transformation not just operations - Builds and maintains significant alliances and support across the clients business - Leads complex Management of Change (MOC) initiatives - Consults and shapes development of the clients approach to identifying and managing risks and assumptions and for realising benefits at a department level - Shapes and directs proposals describing the hp solution and the associated value proposition - Ensures knowledge capture sessions are arranged and executed building hp consultant collateral - Clients are typically C-level managers. Can combine multiple consulting assignments and create new consulting frameworks for delivery. - Balances long-term investments against profitability. Is a leader in the business planning process. - Assures that correct team is assembled for the engagement - Overall engagement portfolio potential $20M and above and/or Service based consulting account potential total contract value (TCV) $50M Roles and Responsibilities: Support the ICL, industry account and sales team in qualifying, solutioning and selling opportunities. Participate on sales calls, educate clients, industry account and sales teams on Transformation programs Lead/support workshops Write and deliver proposals 'Trusted Advisor' for Transformation Projects Conduct Transformation Education Sessions, Presentations and Workshops for existing or potential clients Key Skills: Executive Presence Very Strong written, communication and presentation skills Strong Program Management/Governance experience Strong Depth in two or more Industries and Depth and Breath in all aspects of the IT/Technology Position will be in support of the CIandR Industry.Education and Experience Required: 10 years experience in commercial or public sector. Advanced Educational degree preferred.
