Description:
Perform a variety of duties in business support
functions in areas such as, but not limited to,
procurement, quality assurance of Engineering Training
records, project management (scheduling and planning new
hire and Engineering Training classes), and training.
possess knowledge and apply fundamental concepts,
practices, and established procedures in Engineering
Training.
* Perform data collection, tracking, and auditing in
support of identifying and correcting weak or
problem areas that have the potential to impact
productivity and quality. Provide summary and
analysis of findings. (See specific duties described
below)
* Coordinate and present employee training. Assist in
the development and revision of lesson plans,
training aids and materials. Perform monitoring to
validate teaching effectiveness and document
findings in an approved tracking system. may
recommend improvements in course materials.
* Prepare moderately complex reports of a narrative,
graphical, or statistical nature. Identify
appropriate content and generate reports.
* Interpret and apply general knowledge of BMPC and
applicable Government policies and procedures. Apply
knowledge of government regulations and internal
policy to answer routine questions.
* Participate in procurement process form planning to
delivery.
* Prepare and issue laboratory correspondence relative
to business operations and objectives. May interact
directly wiht BMPC management and external contacts
to address relevant stakeholder needs.
* Maintain and update various contracts and/or
manuals. Review for consistency with requirements.
* Actively participate in various projects in support
of business operations.
Specific duties related to this position include:
* The single point of contact to coordinate the
Technical Training and Orientation Program (T-TOP)
courses
* Tracking enrollment and completion
* Managing documentation and records
* Identifying and notifying guest instructors
* Managing and contributing to training schedules
* Responsible for managing all Engineering Training
records
* Creating, updating, and modifying personal
training folders
* Ensuring completeness and accuracy of the
records
* Coordinating storage of course records
* Serving as the Records Coordinator for the unit
* Overall Engineering Training and organizational
support
* Managing the schedule for Bettis Reactor
Engineering School (BRES) visits
* Managing the site's Training Management Monitor
Program
* Lead for the unit's Standard Operating
Procedures
* Coordinating the generation of the unit's
monthly newsletter
* Supporting unit instructors with class
preparations (e.g. making copies, classroom
setup, etc.)
Applicant must have strong organizational skills,
demonstrate initiative and accountability, and be able
to communicate and interface effectively with various
work groups. Selected individual will be expected to
obtain/maintain a radiation worker qualification,
perform routine surveillance's of NRF work, and support
the NRF Emergency Response Organization.

Requirements:
Associate:
BS/BA in Business or equivalent degree from an
accredited college or university.
Intermediate:
BS/BA in Business or equivalent degree from an
accredited college or university.
A minimum of two years of relevant experience.
