Kleinfelder is currently seeking an Entry Level Civil Engineer with 0-3 years' experience in our Rocky Hill, CT office.
The ideal Entry Level Civil Engineer candidate will participate in and contribute to a diverse range of engineering services in our team-oriented environment providing municipal, private, higher education, energy, state and military clients with professional engineering services for utility infrastructure, stormwater management, drainage design, roadway design, and site development.
* Performing Field Investigations
* Technical Report Writing
* Performing Hydraulic Calculations
* Preparing Contract Drawings and Specifications
* Estimating Costs
* Bidding and Construction Administration services
Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Civil Engineering required.
Knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office is required and experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microstation and/or ArcGIS is preferred.
Experience with CTDOT, NHDOT, MassDOT, MaineDOT, Maine Turnpike Authority is preferred. Co-op experience in Civil Engineering and Engineering-in-Training (EIT) certificate a plus.
