Dewberry is seeking an entry level structural (bridge) engineer for the summer of 2017 with to work in its Carlisle, PA office. The successful candidate will be part of a team designing simple and complex bridges (primarily of steel and concrete construction) and a variety of transportation related structures (retaining walls, culverts, sign structures, and other miscellaneous structures) using applicable software. The candidate will also be involved in the development of contract plans, the preparation of engineer's estimates and construction specifications, and performing construction support services.","BS in Civil Engineering (MS in Structural Engineering preferable)
Good oral and written communication skills
Proficiency using CADD (Microstation preferred)
A desire to work in a team environment
Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering exam is required
Prior experience with NJDOT or NJ Turnpike Authority standards is preferred, but not required.
