As an Environmental Services Associate, your job responsibilities and performance expectations are intended to reflect the high level of care and customer service provided by Norton Healthcare. You will clean and disinfect a variety of hospital areas, rooms, restrooms, along with office suites in the Medical Offices Buildings. You will perform various Environmental Services duties to maintain the hospital in a clean, orderly and sanitary condition. Where patient/family contact is involved, demonstrate positive attitude, knowledge, skills, and behavior appropriate to the age of the patient population served. This includes children (newborn to 17 yrs), adults, and/or elderly. Your duties will also include maintaining the cleanliness of equipment, following all safety precautions and procedures, contributing to the efficient operation of the department, and demonstrating commitment to the values and philosophies of Norton Healthcare.
Required: Customer service and communication skills.; Desired: High School Diploma or GED, Housekeeping Experience, Computerized room control system software, data entry software, and previous knowledge of housekeeping techniques.
