JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY Kennedy/Jenks Consultants has a challenging career opportunity for a mid-level Environmental Geologist or Engineer who is interested in travel, working independently, and assisting with field and office projects. This is a full-time position that will be based out of our Duluth, MN office.
What you ll do: You will work in the environmental industry on a variety of projects and tasks, including environmental drilling and sampling and inputting/interpreting analytical laboratory results, report preparation, database management and related field and office activities. The major job focus of this opportunity is on railroad projects that support site investigation, remediation, and emergency response type work. Work location may cover several areas in Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota, and near-by states. Moderate travel is required for this position.
What you ll need:
A BS or MS degree in Geology or Engineering with 3-7 years of environmental remediation or environmental engineering experience. Excellent communication skills--both written and verbal--will contribute to your success in this position as you will be working with large groups on team efforts, as well as independently. CAAD/GIS experience, field experience, 40 hour HAZWOPER training and/or EIT preferred.
