Environmental Service Worker

Maxim Staffing Solutions is looking for an Environmental Worker to perform routine housekeeping and cleaning duties within various health care facilities, commercial buildings and other locations as assigned.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Cleaning restrooms and offices.Washing windows, removing trash, mops, scrubs, sweeps or vacuums floors, stairways, and halls.Operating various types of automatic housekeeping equipment.Responsible for the use of proper methods and materials in cleaning and in caring for buildings and equipment.Follows all universal precautions, blood borne pathogen procedures and uses personal protective equipment as need while cleaning patient care areas.Supervision is received from a custodial supervisor who periodically inspects work in progress and upon completion for satisfactory performance of housekeeping assignments.Other duties as assigned.Minimum Requirements:Experience in custodial/janitorial work.Ability to follow written instructions, flexible schedule including weekends, evening and nights.High school diploma or equivalent; preferred but not required.Successful completion of Maxim background screening and hiring process.Current physical exam, if required by state regulation or contract specific.Current TB test or chest x ray.Maxim employees are our greatest asset.
