Environmental Services Attendant - Team Leader

To perform a variety of cleaning tasks to maintain the offices and ancillary areas and help stop the spread of infection by scouring, scrubbing, mopping, and using germicidal disinfectants and damp dusting. Performs other duties as listed. Keeps work station neat and clean. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must be able to read and write and follow written and oral directions. Tenth Grade or Tenth Grade equivalent. High school graduate preferred. Previous healthcare and/or institutional housekeeping experience preferred. Must be able to communicate clearly with other members of the healthcare team, customers, and guests. Requires judgment and alertness. Be aware of hazardous materials in improper containers. The ability to organize time, prioritize, and concentrate. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Lifting, reaching, walking, carrying, pushing, pulling, talking, seeing and hearing. WORKING CONDITIONS: May be exposed to potential hazards such as body fluids and other possible infectious material. There may be some exposure to potentially hazardous chemical agents that require care in handling. Full-time Night shift
