Sodexos Health Care Division is seeking a Environmental Services Manager 2 for an acute care hospital in the greater Los Angeles market. The hospital operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week with an hourly workforce speaking predominately Spanish. This position requires a flexible schedule may include some weekends and holidays.Relocation is not offered at this time. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of Hospital, Joint Commission, Floor-Care, Sodexo Systems, and other regulatory guidelines; previous custodial experience in a hospital environment, the ability to communicate well with all levels of individuals from patients to hospital administration; a commitment to customer service. Managing in a strong union environment is a plus but not a requirement. High energy for fast paced environment. Client engagement and patient satisfaction is essential for the success of this role. Position Summary Supervises hourly staff providing custodial service to client. Responsible for work force planning, Quality Assurance training and administrative functions for designated area. Typically reports to General Manager or Operations Manager.
