Sodexo is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Environmental Services (Operations Manager 3) for Boston Childrens Hospital, ranked as the #1 Children's Hospital in the nation! This is a high profile blue chip account and teaching facility located in Boston, MA. This pediatric hospital has 400 beds and over 3 million cleanable square feet. This is a 2nd shift opportunity (2pm start time). The successful candidate will be required to participate in a rotational on call schedule involving rotating weekends and holidays. This Assistant Director will lead, develop and train a team of 36 employees. Some responsibilities may include (but not limited to) on-going training, quality inspections, compliance, safety, and the implementation of Sodexo policies and procedures. Overall, will need to motivate hourly staff and maintain cleaning quality to a very high level with an emphasis on client satisfaction at all times. Client engagement and patient satisfaction is essential for the success of this role. The ideal candidate will have prior Assistant Director/operational responsibility for an Environmental Services/Custodial department with direct Manager reports and front-line staff in a healthcare/hospital environment. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and technical skills are necessary. JCAHO experience is preferred. Must have the ability to handle multiple priorities at once in a fast paced environment.
