To help us meet our ambitions and provide the best solutions to patients, UCB is currently seeking a talented individual as Epilepsy Sales Specialist on Long Island, NY (Nassau County)..
In this role you will act as the primary customer contact for demand creation by executing marketing strategy and promoting UCB's Epilepsy product portfolio. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Analyze data including business statistics and customer feedback that provides an information framework for the development of territory business plans * Develop and maintain disease state and product knowledge in order to engage health care professionals in highly clinical discussions * Create and maintain successful business partnerships with customers by meeting regularly with target health care professionals within assigned territory to understand and address needs. * Adhere to full and complete compliance of all selling activities within assigned territory to the standards of UCB, Local, State and Federal regulations * Utilize designated sales analytic reporting tools to identify highest potential customer targets and facilitate Company's evaluation of effort and impact * Travel within the assigned territory on a routine basis; some overnight travel may be required to see all target customers on a routine basis * Participate in sales and marketing strategy meetings on district, regional and national level to contribute ideas and concepts to assist Company with development of brand strategies
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. Health care or business degrees preferred. * Minimum of 2 years pharmaceutical sales experience * Account-based sales (e.g. hospital, long-term care) experience preferred * Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data to develop strategic and actionable business plans to deliver sales results * Ability to work autonomously using discretion and independent judgment when presenting Company provided material * Strong communication skills - written and verbal; clearly conveying information and ideas in a manner that engages audience and helps understand and retain messages * Candidate must live within/near the geographic boundaries of the assigned territory.
