JOB DESCRIPTIONSearching for an Escrow Closer position?
The primary function for this position is responsibility for residential refinance transactions. The Closing Specialist / Escrow Officer will be expected to timely and accurately execute the following tasks:
?Complete real estate escrow (refi) transactions by determining requirements; clearing title; assembling, preparing, and reviewing closing documents; ALTA Settlement Statements, balancing and setting up disbursement of funds. Ability to work in a team environment with various departments.
?Determines escrow requirements by studying lender instructions.
?Respond to all questions and requests surrounding the transaction in a timely and helpful manner.
?Provides a very high level of customer service to all parties involved in the transaction. Emails returned within Client and Company service level agreements
?Prepares transaction documents by completing forms and statements; collecting and reviewing existing documents.
?Completes closing transaction documents by assembling documents; reviewing documents with parties; explaining provisions and procedures; answering questions; checking documents for completeness and accuracy; obtaining signatures.
?Prepare ALTA Settlement Statements for TRID transaction by utilizing lender instructions.
?Timely balancing of lender's funds for Disbursement.
?Complies with regulatory requirements
?Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
High School diploma or equivalent, required, College degree preferred,
At least 1 year of direct escrow officer or 2 years senior level assistant experience preferred. Candidates with paperless operations system experience and documented high volume pipeline management will be given extra consideration. Ability to handle high volume refinance accounts.
?Experience with MS Office including Word and basic Excel is required.
?Excellent written and verbal skills to effectively communicate and present at all levels, both internally and externally.
?Ability to manage multiple priorities and effectively prioritize and execute in a fast paced environment.
?High level of demonstrated customer service, and time management skills.
?Escrow/ title industry experience with a minimum of 2 years senior assistant level experience, or 1 year direct escrow officer experience. National experience a plus.
?Ability to read and interpret documents such as underwriting guideline matrix, lender’s instructions, trust agreements and preliminary title reports/commitments.
?Basic math skills with understanding of 'escrow' type math.
?Exposure to Escrow Closings on a National Basis, preferred but not required.
?Exposure to high volume, paperless office environment preferred but not required. Also ok with working with a new, fast growing, high energy company.
?Flexible with work hours, possible staggering of early and later day shifts. Some paid mid-month and month-end overtime and some half-day Saturday overtime
?$45,000.00 - 60,000.00 depending upon experience.
