Events Sales Manager is responsible for the development of the catering market segments and solicitation of new customer relationships while maintaining existing relationships with previous customers. Represents the hotel through conducting conferences and other external sales presentations to groups and prospective customers to solicit, explain, negotiate and close group and local catering business. Meets with and entertains customers, conducts property tours, participates in tradeshows, industry and community events to promote facilities and services. Negotiates contracts and commits company with customers and set establish agreements with vendors. Maximizes revenue and promotes relationships through negotiation of services and prices.
