Located in the center of San Diego's community in Hillcrest, our 110-bed Long Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) specializes in the care of medically complex and catastrophic rehabilitation patients who may require extended stays. Vibra Hospital is seeking an Executive Assistant to the CEO to join our team. The Executive Assistant to the CEO will ensure smooth daily operations for the Chief Executive Officer of the Hospital. This position also maintains all Medical Staff records and files including applications, licenses, DEA numbers, etc. Takes and maintains minutes of assigned Medical Staff and functional committee meetings. This position requires good organizational skills, the ability to handle information in a confidential manner, and a pleasant personality with the (co-workers, physicians, public). This position would also be responsible for:-Receiving and managing telephone communications and visitors.
-Serve as resource for physicians and other staff
-Prepare document packets and maintain minutes of several Committee Meetings
-Manage calendar; arrange meetings, travel and lodging; open and direct mail
-Establish and maintain highly confidential files and records.This position provides administrative support to the CEO on full time basis and one other senior executive on an interim basis.
Qualifications:
Requires a high school diploma; College Degree preferred.
Hospital Administrative support is a must.
Knowledge of medical terminology; and certification as a Medical Staff Coordinator (CMSC) strongly preferred. Advanced knowledge in secretarial/organizational skills Minimum of 2 years Executive support experience required. 2-3 years experience in Medical Staff activities preferred. Word, Excel, Publisher, and other specific software
