Position Summary
Under minimal direction, provides administrative support to assigned Partners as well as providing support to other BCG departments as required.


Job Responsibilities
In addition to performing all administrative assistant tasks at a consistent and exceptional level, the Executive Assistant also:

* Creates and maintains calendars and performs all necessary scheduling for assigned Partners

* Works with Travel Specialists to make travel arrangements for assigned Partners

* Types and prepares client proposals

* Establishes and maintains necessary filing systems for assigned Partners

* Prepares monthly billing letters

* Interacts with clients regarding meeting setup, case status and other administrative issues

* Develops and maintains relationships with client counterparts

* Updates and maintains management reports as required

* Interacts with specialized outside vendors and BCG offices worldwide

* Reconciles all billing for services performed by outside vendors if necessary

* May obtain and distribute documents from in-house information services as requested by other BCG offices

* May assist and attend conferences and/or specialized area meetings

* Performs other projects as assigned or requested which may include occasional personal requests as time permits

Basic Job Requirements
Education/Experience

* BA/ BS degree preferred with at least five years secretarial experience or seven years progressive secretarial experience, with a minimum of three years experience at the Executive level

* Computer and related information technology operations and principles

Knowledge

* Proven ability to perform Administrative tasks at an exceptional level

* Extensive experience in a Windows environment

* Advanced skills in Microsoft Word

* Knowledge of Power Point

* Familiarity with basic office equipment (copier, fax, Dictaphone, etc.)

* Familiarity with standard business filing procedures and systems

* Correct English usage, grammar, spelling and punctuation
