Johns Manville is seeking an Executive Assistant to provide administrative support to our Senior Vice President, Insulation Systems. In this role, the Executive Assistant will help maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of this executive. Specific responsibilities include managing calendars, planning domestic and international travel, answering phones and directing callers, developing presentations and reports and basic communication, creating and maintaining documents, arranging off-site meetings, managing supplies, and more. Ad-hoc requests will be frequent, varied in nature, and must be prioritized amongst multiple customer requirements. This highly visible position regularly interacts with employees across the organization, including the CFO, General Counsel and CEO. This position reports to the Senior Vice President and is located in our downtown Denver, Colorado office.

Duties and Responsibilities:


- Serves as first point of contact and liaison to Senior Vice President, Insulation Systems. Professionalism, high energy, approachability and sense of urgency required for this role.

- Administrative support for Senior Vice President and his staff, as needed.

- Draft and prepare reports and presentations; proactively prepare general communication on behalf of the SVP.

- Manage calendars with extensive appointments, meetings and conference rooms.

- Arrange domestic and international travel plans and prepare expense reports.

- Coordinate events and offsite meetings to include catering and logistics management for JM guests, employees and the SVP's team.

- Answer phones and respond to a variety of requests from internal and external customers.

- Leads IS team activities.

- Work with internal or external support services for equipment needs.

- Order and maintain supplies

- Maintain organizational charts.

- Manage confidential and time sensitive material with tact and discretion.

REQUIREMENTS:


- Minimum 5 years experience in administrative support role.

- High school diploma, business or technical degree required. BA/BS preferred.

- Computer proficiency in word processing applications for correspondence, memoranda, contracts; spreadsheet applications for presentation and database maintenance; web-based information and collaboration tools such as SharePoint.

- High level of proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

- Strong internal customer skills and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.

- Able to interact with external executives, vendors, and customers.

- Strong project management skills.

- Ability to attend to detail.

- Strong organizational skills.

- Basic knowledge of accounts payable, budgets and expense reporting.

- Ability to work independently or in a team.
