Sodexo Universities has an Executive Chef 2 opportunity at George Williams College of Aurora University located on the stunning shores of Lake Geneva located in Williams Bay, WI. *Relocation Assistance is Available!* This campus includes a variety of food operations. There are up to 100 residential students who participate in an "All You Care To Eat " board dining plan. Conferences vary from small (less than 10 people) events to large (300+ people) events. There is a small retail snack bar that is used by both students, faculty and staff. Summer months have a number of large events including "Music By The Lake", that involve both catering as well as cash operations. The catering and conference business can be small and casual to quite elaborate and elegant at times with creativity required in designing menus and presentation. Business levels vary from slow to steady to very busy at times with multiple large catering events at once. This unit offers a solid and dependable hourly team in place. Position Summary Designs, supervises, coordinates and participates in activities of cooks and other kitchen personnel in a medium to large account. This position is recognized as the technical expert, teacher and trainer for other chefs and cooks within the account. Selects and develops recipes and other items for clients. Develops menu, implements and trains HACCP, oversees/purchases food, establishes production levels and inventory controls, interviews and hires new chefs, manages/controls food cost issues and offer solutions, may train other chefs outside account. May cook selected items, and plan or price menus. Typically has chefs and cooks reporting to this position. Qualifications & Requirements Basic Education Requirement - Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree Basic Management Experience - 2 years Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc. Sodexo is an EEO/AA/Minority/Female/Disability/Veteran employer.
