POSITION SUMMARY

The Communications Manager will be responsible for managing projects and organizational processes that support internal and external ESI clients. This position will be responsible for working cross functionally with the director to identify and strategize solutions for various divisions within Express Scripts. This will include working with outside vendors to develop an array of tactical communications including collateral, multimedia, printed and electronic communications, etc.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

* Support content development, design, review and approval for member-facing communications initiatives, collateral, media, direct-to-consumer activities.

* Work with business owners, creative design and content, sales/account management, and execution groups for on-going and new communications programs.

* Manage the production of communications collateral and coordinate to-the-market and direct work plan development for same.

* Manage the coordination of direct-to-patient communications delivery(s) and media as may be contractually required.

* Participate in the development of ESI s member communications strategies and tracking metrics.

* Manage cross-functional member communications projects and campaigns.

QUALIFICATIONS

* Bachelor s degree

* 5-8 years relevant experience or Master s degree and 3-5 years of experience

* PC skills working with Internet, Microsoft Office, and email

* Strong organizational skill and a background in managing large consumer or public oriented projects a plus

* Ability to meet demanding deadlines and react quickly to new directions

* Ability to work well within a team environment in a high performance organization a must

* Ability to work well within a team environment in a high performance organization a must

* Ability to produce written communications that can stand on their own with minimal editing, content direction
