Executive Compensation Principal
EXECUTIVE COMPENSATION PRINCIPAL
The EXECUTIVE COMPENSATION PRINCIPAL will report directly to and work very closely with the Director of Executive Compensation.
The Executive Compensation Principal will partner with management, legal, finance, tax, accounting and external compensation consultants in the successful and efficient implementation and administration of executive compensation plans and programs.
In addition to performing research and analysis necessary to enable management and Compensation Committee decision-making the will assist with preparation of Compensation Committee of the Board materials.
The Executive Compensation Principal will document executive compensation policies, procedures and systems as well as evaluate and implement changes to current processes where necessary for continuous improvement. They will also be responsible to enhance systems and streamline processes to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
The Executive Compensation Principal will communicate and counsel executives and participants regarding executive compensation plans and programs.
*Executive compensation duties to include appropriate participant selection and incentive opportunity to support the short-term and long-term compensation strategy. Annual participant review, administration and payout of the Performance Recognition Plan (PRP) and Long-Term Incentive Plan (LTIP).
*Assure compliance with governmental laws and regulations by providing data for proxy filing and annual report and other financial and regulatory disclosures.
*Responsible for maintaining SOX compliance by maintaining current documentation for plans. Maintain documentation regarding fulfillment of SOX requirements. Provide data to internal and external auditors for testing.
*Responsible for the administration of executive and director plans such as the deferred compensation plan, SERP, perquisites and director compensation. Will supervise executive compensation analyst duties related to these plans and processes.
*Participate in annual compensation market surveys. Match positions to appropriate survey positions based on organization and job descriptions. Retrieve and submit appropriate data.
*Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field. Degree in Accounting, Finance or HR related field, desired.
*5 plus years of progressive experience overall in Compensation and 3 plus years of experience in Executive Compensation.
*Experience in Accounting and Tax is desired.
*Excellent Microsoft office skills, especially in Excel, PowerPoint and Word with particular focus on the ability to process large complex mail merges.
*Ability to interact with all levels of the organization with strong customer focus.
*Exceptional written and verbal communication skills as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
