RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Executive Sous Chef will assist the Executive Chef in overseeing all culinary and stewarding operations in this acclaimed Resort. The position reports directly to the Executive Chef.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Our candidate will have a minimum of two years leadership experience as a Sous Chef in an upscale hotel or restaurant with multi-million dollar volume, as well as a proven track record of motivating and leading associates to create the highest quality products that delight our diners and clients. He or she will be highly motivated and will assist the Executive Chef to bring the culinary department to new heights by developing talent and designing and implementing new recipes and production methods. This candidate will be passionate about consistency of presentation and preparation and have expert knowledge of food and safety and sanitation standards. This candidate must demonstrate current knowledge of local market trends and competitors and be able to create food products that will satisfy guests and maximize sales opportunities. This candidate will be a solid administrator with good computer skills and time management abilities and will possess the financial acumen to meet financial goals. Proven leadership abilities and a high degree of professionalism are critical to the success of this manager.
