JOB SUMMARY
Perform expediting assignments required to follow-up the procurement, movement and processing of materials, supplies and equipment for an assigned department or business unit.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND COMPETENCIES
* Intermediate Excel skills * Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats * Effective interpersonal skills with coworkers and customers * Participate in a continuous improvement activity * Ability to work overtime requests when needed

QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
* Follow up and expedite procurement of material through Procurement Department and support departments, etc. to ensure that orders are available on the required date * Communicate daily, written and verbally, with vendors and internal buyers * Maintain records, charts, graphs, logs and progress reports as required * Assist in preparation of regular and special reports, inventories, etc. for both internal and external analysis * Perform miscellaneous stock acquisition duties as required * Assist higher classified Expeditors * May pick up/deliver urgently required material and equipment * All employees are responsible for the Quality of their work to ensure BEI meets, or exceeds Customer Satisfaction.
