Description:
Senior/Principal:
The Project Manager will play a key role in the
Operations Community providing leadership to the
development, monitoring and control, and communications
for the Knolls Site Operations Community Resource Loaded
Integrated Schedule. Specific responsibilities include
creating and maintaining the Ops Community operating
instructions and /or policies, and teaming with the
Product Area and Service Area Program Managers and
Project Analysts with a focus on maintaining a resource
balanced project portfolio. Other duties include
evaluating and dispositioning change requests,
identifying and mitigating risks to the portfolio,
interfacing with stakeholders across the community, and
leading various projects that assist the community in
our goal to improve the maturity with integrated
planning.
Essential Duties include:
- Leading the efforts for the overall integrated
schedule environment which is comprised of a portfolio
of projects across the entire community.
- Leading the community to ensure successful completion
of the business cycle initiatives (e.g., annual updates)
- Leading the team in monthly resource and metrics
reviews, communication of performance to plan, etc.
- Assisting the community in developing appropriate
schedules with planning assumptions as needed with a
goal of improving our project management maturity.
- Hold the team accountable to ensure issues are driven
to closure (resource shortages, etc.)
- Develop and maintain policies and instructions
- Keep a pulse on community issues to ensure following
the integrated schedule policies and instructions (e.g.,
change management).
- Ensure successful turnover to a new or updated
scheduling software, as applicable.
Requirements:
Senior:
BS degree in a related discipline from an accredited
college or university and a minimum of six years of
relevant experience; or
MS degree in a related discipline from an accredited
college or university and a minimum of four years of
relevant experience.
Principal:
BS degree in a related discipline from an accredited
college or university and a minimum of nine years of
relevant experience; or
MS degree in a related discipline from an accredited
college or university and a minimum of seven years of
relevant experience.
For either level: demonstrated Project Management
experience, including integrating the work of team
members, experience developing and maintaining resource
loaded schedules, analysis of performance, demonstrated
ability to clearly and concisely articulate technical
information and concepts both orally and written.
Experienced presentation skills, strong interpersonal
skills, and experience manipulating data in EXCEL.
Demonstrated leadership skills.
