Welder

Adecco Group, a world leader in staffing solutions, has an immediate opening for a Welder in Liverpool for a contract postion.

Primary job responsibility is to perform a wide variety of welding and brazing tasks, often to exacting quality standards and dimensional tolerances. Assemble and weld/braze delicate weldments. Assemble and weld large structural assemblies holding tight tolerances. Sets up and operates metal fabricating machines such as brakes, drills, rolls, shears, saws, and presses to perform any combination of bending, punching, straightening, roll forming, cutting, clinching, soldering, spot welding, of metal to fabricate items such as metal plates, sheets, structural shapes, rims, molding, cams, tubing, and housings specified by blueprint, specifications or work orders. Operates welding positioners with manual and semiautomatic welding machines to produce welded joints. Experience is required in design and fabrication of welding fixtures to hold specified tolerances in production. Knowledge of basic welding metallurgy, strong blueprint reading skills, use of precision measuring tools.

Job Experience:

5+ years of trade school, vocational education, work experience, and/or apprenticeship
Experience following welding processes to join metal assemblies: GMAW, FCAW, GTAW and Brazing.
